MANA vs Leceipt: a dedicated e-tax invoice signer, and a workspace for the whole freelance job

When a Thai freelancer registers for VAT, the first question is usually "which e-tax invoice software should I use?" One name that comes up often is Leceipt. Here's an honest look at what it does well, and why it isn't really the same category as MANA.

Leceipt is a specialist, and it's good at the specialty

Leceipt is Thai software built around one job: producing e-Tax Invoice & e-Receipt documents that meet Revenue Department standards.

Credit where it's due:

If your problem is "I sell a lot and need dozens of properly signed tax invoices a day," this is built for you. MANA does not replace that.

Price is where freelancers should do the arithmetic

From Leceipt's pricing page as of August 2026, the entry plan for very small businesses is ฿999/month for 100 documents, then ฿2,999 / ฿3,499 / ฿4,999 per month for 300 / 500 / 1,000 documents, scaling up to ฿19,999/month for 10,000. The electronic certificate is separate — around ฿3,000, paid directly to the issuing authority (TDID or INET). The pricing page lists no free tier. Worth re-checking before you commit; prices change.

For an online shop issuing tax invoices all day, that's excellent value. Now apply it to a typical freelancer issuing 5–15 documents a month: you're paying full price for a 100-document quota and using under 15% of it. And if you aren't VAT-registered yet, you have no obligation to issue tax invoices at all.

MANA solves a different problem

Tax documents are the last step of freelance admin. Everything before it eats more of your week:

MANA is a workspace for one-person businesses: projects, clients, and the full document chain from quotation to invoice to receipt, plus finance, cash flow forecasting, and withholding tax — in one place. PromptPay QR on invoices, a public link clients can open and pay without an account, and follow-up tracking for overdue balances.

Side by side

The job Leceipt MANA
Signed e-Tax Invoice & e-Receipt, compliant submission Yes — the core product Not its strength

Managing projects and clients Out of scope Yes
Chasing payment, outstanding balances, cash flow forecast Out of scope Yes
Best fit VAT-registered sellers with volume Freelancers and solo operators

Choosing, in thirty seconds

Not VAT-registered? You don't need the e-Tax Invoice & e-Receipt system or the ฿3,000 certificate. You need a document and money system that gets you paid in full and makes filing painless. Start with MANA.

VAT-registered and issuing hundreds of tax invoices a month, especially through marketplaces? Leceipt is the sharper tool and the price matches the volume.

VAT-registered but issuing only a handful of documents a month? Separate the two concerns. Run the work, clients and money in MANA, and pick the lightest compliant route for the tax invoice itself — e-Tax Invoice by Email exists precisely for low-volume issuers.

This isn't necessarily either/or; the two sit at different layers of the job. The mistake to avoid is paying for e-commerce-grade tax document infrastructure when your actual problem is three clients who haven't paid and no idea whether next month works.
